Carmel Corn

Place in large roaster
  5-6 qts popped popcorn

Melt in saucepan and boil for 5 minutes:
  2 c brown sugar
  1 c butter or margarine
  1/2 c white corn syrup

Remove from heat and add:
  1 tsp vanilla
  1 tsp salt
  1 tsp soda

Mix well.  Pour on top of popcorn. Stir.  Bake for 40 minutes at 250. Cool on waxed paper.
